Vinyasa Flow

Dharma Yoga Wheel

Designed to help stretch and release tension in the back, chest, shoulders, abdomen, and hip flexors. Dharma Yoga wheels will be provided for all participants.

Pranayama

This practice relates to controlled breathing through specific techniques and exercises. Pranayama exercises help to clear physical and emotional blocks within the body so that your breath and energetic flow can move freely.

This class includes a technique of energetic healing, deep awakened sleep rest, and creative total relaxation.

Workshops

  • Learn the foundations of yoga, including sun salutations, complete breath awareness, alignment and stretch guidance in yoga poses, and a final pose of deep healing relaxation.

  • Enjoy a series of gentle hand placements as remote, energetic healing sparks the life force within your body. Reiki is a technique for melting away tension, stress, and pain and enhancing your body’s inherent ability to heal and replenish. Our certified Reiki Master will guide you through this invigorating and introspective journey.

  • In this workshop, you'll learn healing purification chants and mantras to connect with ancient healing principles. Cleansing meditations will strengthen your mind-body connection and increase your capacity for clarity and openness.   • Explore the energetic centers of your body through breathwork/pranayama, poses, asana, guided meditation, and mantra to explore, enlighten, and balance your chakras.

  • This inversion workshop caters to all yoga levels. It teaches basic skills to create a strong foundation for backbends, arm balances, headstands, and handstand variations. All poses will be explained and practiced.

Meet Your Certified Instructors

Audrey Besinger

Audrey is a 200 RYT certified yoga teacher with a master's in humanities from John Carroll University. She's passionate about practicing and teaching Dharma yoga, which has been transformative for her wellness, spirit, nutrition, and physical longevity. At Walden's Om Studio, Audrey goes beyond teaching poses—she helps each student gain mental and physical strength and flexibility.

Barrie Rosencrans

Barrie has been a Dharma yoga teacher and dedicated DYC student since 2014. With 19 years of yoga experience and 500, 700, and 800/1000 DYRT, Barrie has mastery in Dharma Yoga asana, meditation, pranayama, yoga nidra, and vegan nutrition counseling. Barrie's passion is to help students cultivate a heart-centered, eight-limbed Dharma yoga practice. Barrie's teaching is the epitome of Sri Dharma Mittra's selfless guidance that has molded and elevated her life.

Allison Yanci

Meet Allison, the newest yoga instructor at Walden! She started practicing yoga after years of bodybuilding and taking her first yoga classes in a gym. Yoga struck her as a way to balance and care for herself, and she fell in love with it as a lifestyle and perspective. Allison completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in April 2016 and is excited to help others find steadiness and ease in their everyday lives.

Classes are $10 for Walden members and $15 for guests at the Om Studio inside Spa Walden. Weekday classes are from 9 am to 10 am, and weekend classes are from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.
